If you don't want to be tied down to your plants:
1. Throw away all the potted plants because they need daily watering, weeding etc
( keep a few that you really love )
2. Maintain the hardy plants - you don't have to water them everyday ,
just fertilise them once a month and prune them once in a while
and you don't even need to talk to them!
3. If they are untidy, leave them be! manicured gardens are expensive!
